I have long had an interest in fabrics and how they can be used to create something pleasing to the eye.
Most of my projects start with the sourcing of the fabric. Only later do I then create something once time and inspiration align.
I am drawn to vibrant patterns, and like to experiment by combining patterns and plain colours.
My inspiration comes from the clothes of the 60s, the batik fabrics of Southest Asia and the wax prints of Africa.
Most of my creations are solely for myself or family members.
Only occasionally will I strive to create a garment for another human!
However, in this website I might inspire you to take the plunge and create something for yourself or others that can be worn time and again with pride and will help to reduce the impact that fast fashion has on the planet.
